I was surprised to find a charge on my CC bill and I never heard of them. I would hope a class action suit would be started against them

I have been scammed by this *** business for the past 3 months.
I paid $.95 cents to get a phone # for a friend in Tx . Next thing I know I am beg charged $24.95 per month.
Now I have called them and asked they put my money back in my account. Charged this again for Oct. By now they have likely taken another $24.95 for Nov. I am shaking all over.
Angry no!!!. I want to choke them out of business.
I am 77 years old and live on apps 800.00 per mo. This has to stop.

BEWARE ... get one set of results for $0.95 and seven days later they will charge you $24.95 unless you have already cancelled. The full details are buried two layers deep in the terms of sale.
These guys are CROOKS.

Unprofessional
I was trying to lookup a friend's email address so I can keep in contact with that friend during the pandemic. However, most of the people search websites sent me over to Spokeo and my experience with Spokeo was very disappointing.
Rather than posting what I simply needed (which was the email address), the website kept making me wait while it was uploading personal records and I was not interested.
In addition, they'll try to convince you to purchase the report--uh, no thank you.
I was very disappointed with the lack of professionalism and organization. I do not understand why many people search websites partner with Spokeo, but I will take my business somewhere else.
